Abstract :
The rapid expansion of digital technology has transformed the educational system across the globe. Innovative digital pedagogical practices have emerged as important tools for improving teacher competencies, student engagement, and educational quality. Technology-enhanced learning encourages collaborative learning, interactive teaching, self-directed learning, and continuous professional development among teachers. The integration of digital pedagogy in teacher education supports sustainable educational development and prepares educators for the demands of the twenty-first century classroom.
This paper examines innovative digital pedagogical practices for effective teacher development. It discusses the meaning and significance of digital pedagogy, various innovative teaching strategies, the role of educational technologies, teacher professional development, and sustainable educational practices. The paper also highlights challenges faced in implementing digital pedagogy and suggests practical measures for effective integration. Case study examples from schools and teacher education institutions are included to demonstrate successful implementation. The paper adopts a descriptive research methodology using secondary data from books, journals, reports, and educational policies. The study concludes that digital pedagogy can significantly improve teaching effectiveness and educational outcomes when supported by proper infrastructure, training, and policy implementation.
